Greetings friendlings…

New musical happenings are in the air as the next generation of dance/electronic music siblings increase their nocturnal presence across the country. With a Mash Up of genres, djs, and live acts, a new scene is warming the airwaves and dancefloors, filling venues with 2000+ attendees whilst remaining oblivious to those dancing in the saturated bubble of straight up house and techno nights. Annie Mac as choice of cover for Pete Tong (Radio One), new stars such as Jaymo and Andy & George, and the new popularity of producers such as DJ Zinc & Riva Starr, are all turning the heads of a younger generation. Fabric live has been focusing on the beats, bass, breaks, and d&b since its inception, and now a multitude of underground parties have gradually engaged the capital and beyond, encumbering a greater number of music styles and attitudes. Adding to this sonic armament here in London, further friendly fire is loaded and engaged in the form of several new large-scale weekly rendezvous'. Encompassing broader forms of dance/electronic music diversity, the Coronet launches its new Together party next month which will focus on this eclectic vibe, and Egg sets sail with it's new weekly Friday night party, Blow, this weekend. Featuring the aftershow for Lady Gaga's o2 performance alongside Alphabeat and a host of other djs, live acts, and musical styles, there will be disco biscuits for all palettes amid a sea of fresh smiles.
